DNA proves them right, and suspicion switches to Karen herself. However, when toothbrush DNA reveals Karen does have a son, the CSIs search for the real Jesse Matthews, and discover how far a mother will go to protect her kin. Meanwhile, Grissom discloses to Catherine the story of his father’s mysterious death. Kelly Gordon, recently released from prison, pays Nick a visit at the lab.
