Guangdong Report is a ten-minute daily English program broadcast at 6:45am everyday on GDTV's Satellite Channel, and relayed throughout China. Its aims are to broaden national awareness of Guangdong and to provide practical information to foreigners living inside and outside the province. The program features the latest developments in economic and social life in Guangdong province, with an eye to local culture and heritage.
Guangdong Report is packaged to GDTV's Overseas Channel starting July 2004, which means the program will be aired via satellite, with downlinks to North, Central and South America, Oceania, Europe, the Philippines and South Africa. Besides, Guangdong Report is also aired at GDTV's Mobile TV Channel at 6:30am and 8:30pm everyday.
